Hi to the Lickers and Stickers

A short post to say Hi to the lovely ladies from the Lickers and Stickers Craft Club, what a great club name!  Debbie and Jane very kindly asked me to demo at their craft club yesterday and it was a great pleasure to meet such a friendly group of talent crafters, thankyou for making me feel so welcome.

Page Maps June 2009

I've been an avid follower of PageMaps for several years now, although I will admit that I rarely get the time to use them.  Created mainly for all shapes and sizes of scrapbooking  Becky does create sketches for cards and this month I've been lucky enough to have one of my cards used as a sketch demo.  Gives me a tickle in my tummy each time I look! If you've got the time take a browse at all of the inspiring card creations for this months CardMaps.  I'd love to know if you crreate anything.

This is my card that was choosen, it will also be making and appearance at Newbury.

All products are Stampin up.  I used the Tea Party Designer Series Paper,Playful Petals stamp set and the lovely Pretty in Pink grossgrain ribbon from the mini catalogue and teamed it with Certain Celery, Pretty in Pink and So Saffron cardstock, white heat embossing, Almost Amethyst marker and a cute half pearl from the Pretties Kit. First visit to Ikea Southampton

Wow what a place. Jackie and I went to collect a few pieces to help us get organised for Newbury, not long now ladies, and I came out buzzing with a hundred and one crafty projects swirling around my brain.  I love the fresh clean stylised approach that they have.  The bargains that can be had also make shopping there a pleasure.

I'm not sure I would enjoy it so much if it had been on the weekend but a Monday evening was bliss!

Well this is one of the items we picked up. LACK Coffee table

Stay tuned to see how the Newbury stand progresses.
